Do bananas prevent cramp?

They may help if you’re deficient in potassium. But cramps are multifactorial and are usually linked to poor fitness, dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, poor clothing or, in some cases, highintensity exercise.

How frequently should I eat on a long ride?

I’d recommend eating 30-60g of carbs every hour on a ride of more than two hours.

Is water with an electrolyte tab more hydrating than just water?

Yes! You absorb more of the water by adding an electrolyte tablet because it alters the drink’s osmolarity and enhances absorption.
