8 FINAL RESTING POSE

-

Sometimes the best way to release tension is to lie completely still. You may feel more comfortable in this posture if you put a pillow under your knees to take pressure off your lower back. As you lie, focus on the natural rhythm of your breath and the rising and falling of your belly and your chest.

• Lie on your back with legs slightly apart and let your feet fall open. Relax your hands, palms facing up, shoulder blades evenly on the ground. Lengthen your neck and close your eyes. Allow all your muscles to soften and relax.

• Hold for a few minutes.
