Pick of the kit

At 615g (size 45) these aren’t the lightest, but I’ll eat these super-stiff carbon soles if you can find me a prettier, better made pair of shoes. Yet it’s the detail that impresses me most.

Hidden Velcro tabs atop the tongue stop it moving; meshing teeth embedded into the Velcro toe closure keep things doubly secure. The whole shoe fastens with a single, mid-mounted Tecno-4 dial, which pulls up and away from the tongue via a hinge below so the Sixty can be slipped off with a onehanded pinch/pull movement of the dial’s release button. It’s pure Italian-made class.
