OK, so maybe my choices aren’t autumnexclusive but that doesn’t make them any less essential. This jacket from Madison is waterproof, lightweight and breathable, so has kept me cool and dry in warm-weather rain showers. Its close fit and use of P4DRY fabric means the jacket is very comfortable on the skin so it holds up well as an extra layer in the cold too. That snug cut prevents excess material bunching up, so there’s minimal flapping in the wind. Which is just as well given that I need all the aerodynamic help I can get.
