As any astronomer will tell you, Vega is one of the brightest stars in the northern hemisphere, so it’s no surprise that one of the outstanding features of Santini’s Vega winter collection is how visible it is, and that goes for the Vega Extreme bibtights, which have reflective strips up the back of the calves.

Less obvious to passing motorists will be the Extreme bibs’ standout feature – an integrated short-sleeved base layer made from Polartec Power Wool. As well as ensuring no gaps to let cold air in, and no strap rub, the material of the base layer is thermoregulating and highly wicking to get rid of unwanted moisture.

The legs of the Extreme bibtights are made from thermofleece for warmth, and have a water-repellent coating, while the thigh panels are made from Superroubaix fabric with a fully waterproof PU layer. It all adds up to serious protection from cold and rain.
