Albion is the British clothing brand for British people who ride British roads in British weather, and it’s made in Britain (and Italy and China, but let’s not get distracted). So when Albion introduces its autumn/winter collection, it means British winter, not some temperate Continental winter.

The Long-sleeve Jersey, now in this elegant ‘earth red’ colour, is made from soft, brushed fabric that is stretchy, insulating and moisture-wicking, and can be worn as a standalone layer in milder temperatures or as a midlayer when the chill really ramps up.

The Insulated Gilet (here in ‘moss green’) has been updated for version 3.0 with C0 Durable Water Repellency (DWR) coating on the face fabric that provides rain resistance. And despite being puffy, it’s also lightweight and packable.

Albion’s Three-season Tights use a mid-weight thermal fabric around the waist and thighs for warmth, a lighter fleecebacked fabric for the lower and backs of your legs, and windproof knee panels. The idea is to reduce bulk, especially around the point of articulation in the knee, while better insulating the parts of the leg that face the elements. All the clothes come in men’s and women’s versions for the same price.
