LEE Evans deservedly put Gurnos in the driving seat after 20 minutes but a lack of concentrat­ion enabled Hills to go on for the break all square. Hills started the better side in the second half and got a secnd goal only for Jake Toomey to put the game back on an even keel. The visitors then scored two goals in the last five minutes for a dramatic win. Their scorers were Lloyd Martin, Kirby Davies (pen), Tom Randall and Ben Davies. The ugly side of football came to the fore during the game with Ryan Lewis of Gurnos and Gareth Williams red carded.

IN a ding-dong game both sides had to be happy with a point at the final whistle. Navi scorers were Ceri Clingo, Dave Bufton and Ashley Richards with the Court scorers being Adam Cushen, Dai Howells and Jarred Jenkins.

THE Villagers scored a goal after just five minutes through James Beale. The Blues had enough chances to win the game but had to settle for a draw scoring through Bleddyn Norman. The game was marred with the sending off of home keeper Anthony Thomas and Blues player Jamie Davies both for foul language.

THIS was a comfortabl­e win for the home side in this local derby and the home side’s good start continues.

AN even first half closed with Saints having scored the only goal. QPR then equalised before Saints regained the lead. A penalty made the score two apiece before Saints lifed their game to add two further goals. Home scorers were Jonathan Foster, Ellis Evans, Adam Pembridge and Richard Aspinall. Neil Howells and Jordan Best were the away targetmen.

DAN Watkins scored the goal of the game for the Boys club with a 35-yard scorcher. His side also scored goals through Ben Jones, Jordan Adams and two for Josh Ball. Ian Griffiths scored the away consolatio­n goal.

ABERFAN’S great start to the season continues with this fine away cup victory. Goals came from Eaun Evans (2), Tariq Rees (2), Owen Taylor, Jack Lewis and Finlay Julier.

THE Town put on a good display to earn a place in the next round, conceding only one goal and scoring regularly through Dafydd Jones, Kian Morgan, Jack Bevan, Devon Davies, Gabs Viazzani and Caleb Wakeham.

THE home side must take credit for a battling performanc­e but the away team were in fine form and rattled in goals from Owen Burrows (3), Lloyd Bennett (2), Aled Rawson, Cian Roome and Ethan Swale-Price.

THE four goals in this game all went to the home side and they came from Ethan Fowler, Rohan Pinch, Jay Williams and Jac Powell.

A VERY close first half ended scoreless, the Town came out for the second half with something to prove and Jack James scored with a well hit shot across the goal. They were now the better team and Cameron McIntyre wrapped up the points.

THE visitors returned home with a good 5-0 win under their belt. Dylan Sussex led the goal charge with a treble with Keenan Wiggins and Charlie Tovey grabbing the other two goals.
