Leaders Croesy were held to a surprise 1-1 draw at bottom side Aberdare – for whom it was their first point of the campaign after seven straight defeats.

Ryan Hayward put Croesy ahead on 18 minutes, only for Liam Fawcett to reply instantly for Aberdare who will hope this morale-boosting result will kick-start their season.

Free-scoring STM Sports went down 2-1 at home against Aberbargoe­d Buds.

Kane Giffard and Gavin Meecham – on debut – netted for the Buds, with an own goal on the scoresheet for STM.

AFC Llwydcoed were 2-1 home winners against Monmouth Town thanks to the efforts of Gabriel Williams and Jordan Ellis while Leo Ross scored for the visitors.

Caldicot Town were beaten 2-1 by Abergavenn­y, Swansea University trounced Pontardawe Town 5-1, while Risca United came from behind to beat Garden Village 3-2.

The big winners in Division Three were Ely Rangers who romped to a 6-1 win at Chepstow Town.

King Junior Mwedzo led the way with a hat-trick, while Adam Griffiths, Sam Price and Jonathan Sparks were their other scorers.

Trethomas Bluebirds, who were involved in a 4-4 draw with Pontyclun, remain unbeaten and lead the way.

Adam Raymond, Matthew Prosser and two goals from Tom Neville for Trethomas were cancelled out by two James Gronow goals as well as Tom Tweedy and Tom Holder efforts for Pontyclun.

Brandon Davies’ goal was the difference as Penrhiwcei­ber Rangers won 1-0 at Tredegar Town.

Meanwhile, Connor Berry’s effort for AFC Porth was cancelled out by Mark Millichip of Albion Rovers as they drew 1-1.

And two first-half goals from Thomas Davies steered Caerau to a 2-1 win over Newport City.
