CARDIFF Draconians moved into second place in the Highadmit Projects South Wales Alliance Premier Division with a 3-1 victory over Garw SBGC.

Tom McLean bagged himself a brace and Joey Morelli wrapped up the victory to move Draconians just three points behind leaders Caerphilly Athletic, who weren’t in action.

Athletic have played a game more but have a superior goal difference.

A Josh Ryall hat-trick handed Trebanog their first win in six games as they eased past Sully Sports 3-0 while lowly Ton & Gelli BC were beaten 3-1 by Baglan Dragons.

Debutant BobbyJo Evans scored what proved to be a consolation for Ton & Gelli with Ollie Bowen, Carl Clement and Jordan Evans steering Baglan to victory.

In Division One, leaders Porthcawl Town Athletic moved six points clear of Treforest with a thumping 5-2 win over Penrhiwfer.

After going 2-0 down, Porthcawl Town showed grit and determination to fight back with Joe Jones and Jorge Crofts both finding the net twice.

Morgan Thomas added a late fifth to seal an absolutely remarkable comeback.

Elsewhere, Cardiff Airport beat winless Llangynwyd Rangers 3-1, AFC Butetown lost 3-0 at FC Cwmaman and Cardiff Corinthians drew 2-2 with Penrhiwceiber Cons Athletic.

The only game in Division Two saw Aberfan Social thrash St Albans 5-0 thanks to Josh Powell’s hat-trick.
