RCT planning applications

VARIOUS planning applications have recently been submitted to Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council. The list of received applications includes:

■Residential development of up to 300 dwellings at Former Aberdare General Hospital, Abernant Road, Aberdare;

■Shop signage at Co-operative, 62A Tramway, Hirwaun, Aberdare;

■New first floor stair access to rear elevation (retrospective) at 77 Gadlys Road, Gadlys, Aberdare;

■Proposed new signage scheme incorporating an internally illuminated flex face sign, aluminium panel sign with vinyl graphics, folded aluminium sign with vinyl graphics (to replace existing), internally illuminated flex face sign and a flat aluminium entrance sign at Unit 1, B And Q Plc Superstore, Brown Lennox Retail Park, Ynysangharad Road, Pontypridd; ■Single rear / side extension at 7 Bryn Henllan, Brynna, Pontyclun;

■Discharge of condition 3 - Ecology Report of planning permission 21/0478/10 at East Caerlan Farm, Newbridge Road, Llantrisant, Pontyclun;

■Replace single storey rear extension with double storey extension at 16 Blaennantygroes Road, Cwmbach, Aberdare;

■Non-material amendment to 19/1081/16 - to amend approved house types (R18 range) to the most recent range (R20) at Land at former opencast coal site and land to the North of the A473, Llanilid (Phase 2);

■Discharge of condition 34 (Sustainable Development Strategy) of 10/0845/34 (insofar that it relates to Phase 2 of the development) at Land at Former Open Cast Coal Site and land to the North of the A473, Llanilid.
