THE ORVILLE: ARTIFACTS #1

For a series that started life as a parody of muchloved sci-fi shows like Star Trek, this has quickly become more of a homage.

Created by Seth McFarlane (the man behind Family Guy and American Dad!), it follows the trials of the crew of exploratory vessel The Orville.

This two-issue tale will keep fans tied over until the release of the show’s third series next year. When Captain Ed Mercer bumps into an old teacher, he’s asked to help the professor find the lost fleet of the Zankon.

Written by David Goodman, The Orville: Artifacts #1 is out now, priced £3.60.

BATMAN/FORTNITE: FOUNDATION

This one-shot comic is so highly anticipated it’s even had its own trailer.

After last year’s Zero Point comic event, which saw Batman and Catwoman pulled into the world of Fortnite, Gotham City is about to get a return visit.

Each copy of the comic comes with a redeemable code for a The Batman Who Laughs outfit for Fortnite players to use in the game.

With writing from Scott Snyder, Batman/Fortnite: Foundation is out now, priced £4.50.
