PORT Talbot Town bore the brunt of Llantwit Major’s displeasur­e at losing their unbeaten record in the JD Cymru South the previous weekend as they were hit for six.

Cullen Kinsella and Josh Morgan both scored twice for the home side and hot-shot Tom Walters was once again on the scoresheet.

That took his tally for the season to 14 and moved him ahead of Ammanford’s Tristan Jenkins at the top of the scoring charts.

The other Llantwit goal came from Sean Williams and ensured they stayed top, a point ahead the team that beat them a week earlier, Pontypridd Town.

For Port Talbot it was an unlucky 13th straight loss this season and took their goals conceded to 74.

Pontypridd Town held onto their unbeaten record as they bounced back from their Nathaniel MG Cup exit earlier in the week to win 1-0 at Goytre United.

Ponty powered to another three-pointer thanks to a strike 18 minutes from time by Aiden Lewis.

Liam Thomas scored twice for Carmarthen Town as they stretched their unbeaten run to four games with a 4-0 win over Afan Lido, while Briton Ferry Llansawel secured a convincing 5-0 win over Taffs Well.

They scored three times in seven minutes, Corey Hurford getting two of them.

Joe Hunt got the other and then Tyler Brock and Luke Bowen struck in the second half as Ferry stretched their unbeaten run to five games.

Cambrian and Clydach Vale also handed out a 5-0 drubbing to Risca United.

own goal from Ryan Wheeler started the rout before Jarrad Wright, Ryan Pross, twice, and Camillo Strinati completed the rout.
