CASEY Coulton will always be remembered by his loving sister for his “kind heart” and “beautiful smile”.

His devastated sister Shauna Llewellyn has paid the 18-year-old a beautiful tribute just days after his body was discovered near the River Taff on November 22.

Casey, from Aberdare, had been missing for several days after leaving a house party on November 13.

His family had issued desperate pleas for help to find him, but their search ended in tragedy when police confirmed the teenager’s body had been found in Abercynon.

In an emotional tribute, Shauna described her brother, who lived in Aberdare, as “the most amazing person to ever walk the earth”.

She said: “He was the most loving boy, who wouldn’t hurt a fly.

“He was quiet and shy and I will forever cherish every moment I had with him.”

She remembered sibling joking around when Casey would drag her off the bed by her legs, but said that he “always stuck up for me, always”.

Adding to her tribute, Shauna added: “Brooklyn and Savannah and myself love you ever so much my boy! I’m broken to even think something so cruel could happen to you, just why?

“I’ll forever miss you and will forever love you dearly! Fly high up there my beautiful brother and I promise we will all see you shortly!

“Keep me a space up there please RIP my favourite brother until we meet again. “I love you ever so much my angel.” Family and friends have now set up a fundraising page for Casey to give him the “best send off possible”, and Shauna has thanked the local community, family and friends.

“We have had a lot support from community and close friends,” she said. “They have all been amazing with us all.”

In a tribute released through South Wales Police Joanne Edwards, the mother of Casey’s girlfriend, said: “Casey was a kindhearted, loving, selfless gentleman.

“He was loved by his girlfriend Charlie, her brother Nick, myself and my partner Leighton. He was loved by all his friends dearly and was the life of the party.

“We are all broken. I would like to thank The Bakery Project and everyone who helped in the search for Casey.

“We want him to be remembered for his kind, caring demeanour. Casey, you will be in all our hearts forever and always.”

Tributes have been left on the fundraising page set up for the family.

One said: “I only knew Casey for a short period of time in college, he was a lovely, kind, polite boy and really funny.”

Another said: “Thinking of you all at this sad time. I didn’t know Casey but what I have read he was a lovely boy it’s just tragic he passed at such a young age.”

Police have said an investigation was underway into the circumstances surrounding Casey’s death, which is being treated as unexplained.

The family say they have a lot of questions about what happened.
