UNBEATEN Admiral Championship West leaders Narberth are assured of a promotion spot after they ran riot 67-7 at Ystalyfera.
Lewys Gibby and Rhys Harris each scored four tries with Ilan Phillips at the double. Dean James was also on the scoresheet for the Otters. Jonathan Rogers kicked seven conversions and full-back Ianto Griffiths two. Kaden Davies claimed Ystalyfera’s try. Cellan Carter-Jones converted.
Second-placed Brecon claimed a 26-17 bonus-point victory over Tata Steel. Osian Davies, Sam Jones and Tom Richards were the scorers for Brecon, who were also awarded a penalty try. Dion McIntosh added two conversions.
Llangennech were 67-14 home victors over Trebanos. Gareth George scored a hat-trick while Willis Wood, Harrison Button and Kalum Evans bagged braces with Jordan Saunders and Tom Barnes also going over. Osian Evans kicked six conversions. Iestyn Lewis scored twice for Trebanos, converted by Rhys Harris.
Dunvant defeated Crymych 36-13, Maesteg Quins got the better of Ammanford 23-17 and Newcastle Emlyn edged Bonymaen 21-18.
Championship East leaders Cardiff Met beat Rumney 66-15. Wing Jake Thomas ran in a second-half hat-trick with Evan Sheldon, Porter Goodrum, Ardal Yallop, Liam Sullivan, Elijah Evans, Maxime van Hilst and Mike Hansen also on the scoresheet.
Vikas Meijer kicked five conversions and Charlie Hancock three.
Bargoed were 36-34 winners at St Peters. Centre Jordan Howells scored twice with Lewis Robey, Keegan Bale and Morgan Powell also scoring. Josh Prosser kicked a penalty and four conversions.
St Peters scored five tries with Harry Gimson bagging a hat-trick wing Jack Roberts two. Tom Francis kicked nine points.
Bedwas left Ystrad Rhondda with a 17-15 win.
Dale Rogers and Aaron Billingham bagged Bedwas’ tries, both converted by James Dixon, who also sent over a penalty.

Cross Keys beat Glamorgan Wanderers 31-21 while Beddau saw off Penallta 43-12. Adam Ashford, Lewis James, Lloyd James, Ewan Roberts, James Davies and Cody Baker scored for Beddau alongside a penalty try. Baker added three conversions.
