The Five are alive again as Jacko returns to his roots
POP superstar Michael Jackson is to reunite with the Jackson Five next year, his older brother revealed.
Jermaine Jackson said it would be a “family affair”, with his sister Janet opening the act.
Speaking in Sydney, Jermaine said: “We’ve worked on the music and all the logistics. This has been a long time coming.”
Jermaine, who came second to Shilpa Shetty in the 2007 Celebrity Big Brother, has spoken of the Jacksons reuniting before but it has yet to happen.
The group – who originally found fame in the 1970s with hits such as ABC – have not performed together since 2001, at a gig to celebrate Michael’s 30 years in music.
The news came as Michael, 50, prepared his children Prince Michael, 10, Paris Katherine, nine, and Prince Michael II, five, for Hallowe’en.
