A true star turn from Terry
IT SEEMS that while Chelsea were not very charitable visitors to Hull on Wednesday – romping to a 3-0 win – John Terry was laudably generous where it mattered.
Chelsea players are so fiercely hidden from the media that word seldom gets out even of ‘good news’ stories.
But Terry, Frank Lampard and Nicolas Anelka were spotted at the KC Stadium queueing to sign autographs for one young fan. What is more Terry, after being photographed with Bradley Pallister, 14, promised the boy, who is battling muscular dystrophy, his shirt after the game.
True to his word, Terry spurned swap requests from Hull players and sought out the young Chelsea fan at the final whistle.
