Chrissie is right to warn women of world’s dangers
CHRISSIE Hynde observed that women who dress provocatively and stagger around drunkenly place themselves in danger of being assaulted (“Young women learn from wise Chrissie”, September 2).
I would have thought this comment verged on the obvious but it led to Miss Hynde being set upon by feminists.
There is no room for debate: either you agree women take no responsibility or you are a “rape apologist”.
Telling girls it is safe to dress how they wish, get off their face on drink and drive away with strange men is not striking a blow for feminism – it is just plain daft.
