Bullish Hodgson delivers rousing speech to squad

ROY HODGSON called his players in for a team meeting ahead of the qualifi er in San Marino and told them they can win Euro 2016.

Hodgson has previously been cautious about discussing England’s chances of winning a fi rst major tournament since lifting the World Cup 49 years ago.

England will qualify for next summer’s tournament if they beat San Marino on Saturday to maintain a 100 per cent qualifi cation record.
