UNBELIEVABLY a spokesman for Nottingham Express Transit defends a driver who left a six- year- old boy alone on the pavement when he closed the doors of his tram before the child’s mother could get off. The driver refused to open the doors and made her stay on the tram until the next stop.

Nottingham Express has neither sense nor compassion and is unfit to run a public transport service. Perhaps the young children of its bosses should be abandoned in the street so that the brutes can see what it feels like.
