Cameron could use defeat as an excuse to resign

IS the Prime Minister deliberately leading the “In” campaign to defeat (“Cameron’s EU deal is a con”, February 16)?

He has made it known that he might not serve a full term in office. He could also use the referendum defeat as an excuse for resignation.

As commodity prices, interest rates and growth all continue to fall has he knowledge of some looming economic disaster that he does not want to deal with? Lawrence Mendoza,
