Dozens killed in Iraq suicide bombing

-

A TRUCK bomb killed 60 people and wounded 70 others yesterday.

Islamic State suicide bombers were behind the atrocity at an Iraqi checkpoint in Hilla, 70 miles from Baghdad.

It is the second most deadly attack carried out by the terror group after the lives of 78 people were claimed in Sadr City in Iraq on February 28.

Falah al- Radhi, the head of the provincial security committee, said: “The checkpoint and the nearby police station were completely destroyed as well as some houses and dozens of cars.”
