Turkey roasting for PM

DAVID Cameron was last night challenged over his support for Turkey joining the EU.

The Prime Minister and other European leaders meet Turkish premier Ahmet Davutoglu today.

But Ukip leader Nigel Farage and Tory MP David Davis claim UK security would be put at risk if Britain stays in once Turkey has joined.

Mr Farage said: “Turkey wants to join the EU and has the support of Germany’s Angela Merkel and David Cameron.

“This illustrates the risk in remaining in the EU – open borders with another 77 million people on top of the open borders that we already have.

“This is not just stupid, but downright dangerous given the flow of Islamic State terrorists in the region.”
