Overreacting PC brigade are a bunch of cowboys

AFTER reading Jennifer Selway’s column about the over- the- top reaction to an eight- year- old boy who wanted to fight terrorists, I harked back to the days when we were children playing ‘ cowboys ’ n’ injuns’ and imagined today’s response to that (“An absurd response”, March 5).

The PC brigade would come to the aid of the indians, armed police would be called over toy weapons and social services would have to visit to sort out the parents. How times have changed, regrettably not always for the better.
