MULBERRY’S bagged a new finance director after appointing Neil Ritchie from technology group Dyson.
Ritchie, who was at Dyson for 14 years, will replace Roger Mather in May. Mather announced his departure in September as Mulberry battled to restore its reputation for affordable luxury after an ill- fated move upmarket led to profit warnings. It swung back into a £ 100,000 profi t at the half- year compared with a £ 1.1million loss the previous year.
Mulberry chief executive Thierry Andretta said: “Neil’s experience in developing and managing international business with a leading, innovative British brand will be valuable.”
