Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie does not disappoint as she takes on the role of Maleficent, the self- proclaimed ‘ Mistress of All Evil’ from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty.

Following a ruthless betrayal, in which an ambitious human nobleman abandons the apparent love of his life, Maleficent, in pursuit of claiming the throne, the powerful fairy’s pure heart gradually turns to stone.

She then swears revenge on him by placing a curse on his daughter, only to find herself developing a maternal bond with the girl, who is more than she appears.
