Paddy Power Betfair on roll

PADDY Power Betfair boss Breon Corcoran said the recently merged betting group is on to a winner as revenue surged across both fi rms.

The company, with a combined revenue of £ 1.3billion, is on track to achieve annual savings of £ 50million but said it is being careful not to “disrupt the momentum” of the existing businesses ahead of a key trading period with the Cheltenham Festival, Aintree and Euro 2016 football.

Paddy’s annual revenue jumped 24 per cent to £ 850million while Betfair’s third- quarter revenue was up 21 per cent to £ 138million.

Corcoran said: “Our belief in the deal has only been strengthened.”
