Dubya’s girl offers prince a date on TV... with her sister
PRINCE Harry has been offered the chance of marrying into the Bush political dynasty by the daughter of former US President George W Bush during a TV interview.
Jenna Bush Hager told the Prince that her twin sister Barbara, 34, was single and “available” if he wanted to date her before jokingly calling him “brother-in-law Harry”.
During an interview on NBC’s Today show, she proposed the unlikely union of the Bushes and the Windsors.
Jenna, a correspondent for NBC News, asked him: “Does it make you laugh people are already asking about children? It’s sort of jumping ahead?” Harry, 31, replied: “I have no idea. I don’t even have a girlfriend.”
Jenna said: ‘You know what, I have a single sister and she feels the same way. Listen, she’s available.”
Harry laughed and said: “We can talk maybe off air.”
Jenna told him: “OK, I’ll give you her number.”
She confessed she had given Barbara, the founder of health and human rights charity Global Health Corps, the “heads up” about what she was going to do and that her sister was a little embarrassed.
