New plan a pizza hit

THE delivery arm of Pizza Hut is serving up expansion plans with a £40million investment in the UK and Ireland.

Pizza Hut Delivery will open 200 new takeaway stores over the next four years, creating at least 3,000 jobs.

A quarter of the new outlets will take the Express format, offering smaller servings that can be eaten in or taken out.

Pizza Hut operates more than 700 outlets in the UK and Ireland.

Its UK and Ireland chief executive Raphael Miolane said: “We’ve built a firm foundation.

“Our Express portfolio will play an important role.”
