CORBYN MISSES QUEEN TRIBUTE
LABOUR leader Jeremy Corbyn missed Parliament’s 90th birthday tribute to the Queen at Buckingham Palace yesterday because he attended a family funeral.
He wrote to the monarch offering his apologies on Monday. Party officials declined to give any further details of whose funeral it was and where.
Republican-supporting Mr Corbyn has previously missed events involving the Queen, delaying being made a Privy Counsellor to go on holiday and then missing the Commonwealth Day service, blaming a leg injury.
