Ozzy denies relapse amid split rumours

-

OZZY OSBOURNE has broken his silence after reports suggested his marriage could be in trouble and he’d slipped off the wagon.

“I have been sober for three and a quarter years. I have not touched drugs or alcohol in that time. Any reports that I am not sober are completely inaccurate,” says the Black Sabbath front man, 67, left.

Recent reports claimed his 34-year marriage to Sharon Osbourne was under threat following allegations he’d had an affair with a hairdresser and that he’d relapsed.

Sharon, 63, who has so far remained silent, was absent from her regular slot on US chat show The Talk On Monday which left co-host Julie Chen to tell viewers: “As we get started, Sharon is not here today. There were many tabloid headlines of her and Ozzy, rumours and speculations that they have split up after nearly 34 years of marriage. Sharon understandably took today off and we are sending all of our love to her and to her family. And we ask that you do the same.”

The couple have daughters Kelly, 31, and Aimee, 32, and 30-year-old son Jack. The lady at the centre of the allegations is crimper to the stars Michelle Pugh, who counts Jennifer Lopez and Alicia Silverstone among her clients. The website of the Beverly Hills salon she operates out of describes Michelle as being “inspired by rock and roll as much as she is by nature”.
