Time to make a decision and solve runway dilemma

IT is about time this Government finally made up its mind on a second runway at Gatwick or a third at Heathrow.

Surely by now they have had ample time to study the Airports Commission’s report that took some three years and several million pounds to complete.

There will be winners and losers whichever way the final decision goes but those who will be affected have the right to know as it will mean taking decisions on their individual futures. Dragging their heels on such a serious issue is damaging the future of airport capacity in the vastly overcrowded South-east. Andy Clark, Crawley, W Sussex
