PANDORA JEWELLERY CHARMS THE NATION

-

RAPID store expansion helped Pandora’s sales sparkle in the first quarter.

The Danish jewellery group’s revenue in the UK, where its ambassador is Strictly’s Tess Daly, right, jumped about 30 per cent as it increased the number of concept stores by 38 from a year ago to 198.

The charm bracelet remains its best seller, but rings now account for 20 per cent of UK turnover, with 10 per cent of business online.

UK president Peter Andersen said: “2016 has begun incredibly positively and we have just opened our 200th UK store.”
