Rank looks for digital
GAMING group Rank is looking for merger deals to boost digital revenues after its joint £3.4billion bid with 888 Holdings for William Hill was rebuffed by the bookmaker.
The Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casinos owner lifted annual adjusted pre-tax profit 4 per cent to £77.4million, but just 13 per cent of its 2 per cent higher £753million revenue came from its digital operations compared with 39 per cent across the industry.
Chief executive Henry Birch said: “There is definitely a focus on the digital arena.”
