Snappy days for stars of Strictly

IT WAS strictly smiles all round for the dancing show’s stars during their first week of rehearsals.

The celebrities were paired up with their professional dance partners last weekend and have been busy in the studios since.

And as these pictures show, they’re pretty snap-happy about it so far.

Dancer Anton Du Beke shared a couple of cheeky snaps of him with actress Lesley Joseph captioned “Before and After!”

The Birds Of A Feather star is, at 70, Strictly Come Dancing’s oldest female contestant to date.

Singer Louise Redknapp, 41, puckered up with partner Kevin Clifton. The former Eternal star is one of the favourites to win the BBC competition.

EastEnders star Tameka Empson, 39, shared a snap of her helping dance partner Gorka Marquez celebrate his birthday, while model Daisy Lowe looked chic behind shades as she rolled up for rehearsals.

But the 27-year-old has admitted: “I’m so nervous I just don’t want to fall over.”

Singer Will Young, 37, could not contain his excitement as he posted a selfie on Twitter with dancer Karen Clifton.

He told followers: “Tough work but having so much fun.”

And BBC presenter Ore Oduba, 29, appeared cool and collected in his picture of him showing a thumbs-up next to partner Joanne Clifton.

Strictly returns live at 9pm on September 23 on BBC One.
