Hearing aids are music to Jim’s ears

JIM Charnock was impressed with the difference his first hearing aids made, but when his Amplifon audiologist suggested he trial one of the latest LiNX2 ReSound systems he could not believe the difference they made. “I thought ‘Wow!’. The difference was tremendous, I could not believe how much better they were. It was like switching from a comfortable family saloon to a Rolls Royce.”

Like many people with hearing loss, Jim hadn’t noticed how much he was missing until a family member pointed out how loud the TV was when he was watching and he went to Amplifon for a test.

“My hearing loss had crept up on me gradually, over a number of years. I was surprised at how bad it had become,” he admits.

And Jim’s new hearing aids have enriched his life in unexpected ways. “I love classical music and now I notice all sorts of things that I was missing before. “Sometimes it’s like hearing a piece of music for the first time. It’s amazing.”
