The pressure piles on Jackson tonight as murder seems to involve a man who played a significant part in Long Susan’s escape from Newgate. Somehow he has to solve the case without the truth about Susan becoming common knowledge. A month has passed since Reid (Matthew Macfadyen, above right, with Jerome Flynn as Drake) returned and he and Drake appear to be back in harmony.
