Change the record, Lily you don’t speak for us

COULD pop star Lily Allen please take note that she most definitely does not speak for the whole of Britain for the Calais Jungle camp (“‘Spoilt’ Lily’s Jungle moan sparks outcry”, October 13).

She has no right whatsoever to claim she is speaking on behalf of “her country”.

Lily and her rich counterparts, who are doing all the apologising, need to put their money where their mouths are and make huge donations or offer to take in more than one immigrant instead of preaching to the less well off and telling us what we should be doing.

Just speak for yourself, Lily. Not me. Mary Edwards, Derby
