Jagger becomes a dad for the 8th time aged 73

ROLLING Stone Sir Mick Jagger yesterday became a father for the eighth time... at the age of 73.
The singer and ballerina Melanie Hamrick, 29, were said to be “delighted” after their son’s birth in New York.
Sir Mick already has seven children, whose ages range from 17 to 46, and became a great-grandfather in 2014.
A statement released by his publicist yesterday said: “Melanie Hamrick and Mick Jagger’s son was born today in New York and they are both delighted. Mick was at the hospital for the arrival. Mother and baby are doing well.”
Devastated
The new arrival comes two years after the rock legend was left devastated by the suicide of his partner of 13 years fashion designer L’Wren Scott, at the age of 49.
Ms Hamrick performs with the American Ballet Theatre in New York.
She has been credited with helping him rediscover his trademark zest for life after the tragedy.
Hamrick was a guest at concerts in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Mexico in February and March during The Rolling Stones’ Latin America tour.
Jagger has a daughter Karis Hunt Jagger, 46, from his relationship with Marsha Hunt and a daughter Jade Jagger, 45, with his ex-wife Bianca. He had four children with his expartner Jerry Hall, 60 – Elizabeth, 32, James, 31, Georgia, 24, and Gabriel, 18. He also has son Lucas, 17, following a brief relationship with Brazilian model Luciana Gimenez, 47.
His trysts with Gimenez ended Sir Mick’s 22-year relationship with Hall, who is now married to media mogul Rupert Murdoch, 85.
The Rolling Stones are also this week in line to top the charts.
Blue & Lonesome, which was recorded in just three days, is on course to hit No1 in the album chart 11 years after their last studio album.
It has been a stellar year for the band who also staged an historic free concert in Havana, Cuba, in March.
Sir Mick and his colleagues played to massed crowds in the Communist country where their music had been banned from the airwaves for years because it was deemed subversive.
The Rolling Stones frontman is not the only one in the band to take delivery of a new arrival.
Guitarist Ronnie Wood, 69, also became a father again in May after his wife Sally, 38, gave birth to twins just days before his 69th birthday.
SIR Mick Jagger, at the age of 73, has had a son with girlfriend Melanie Hamrick. The Rolling Stones rocker already has seven other children ranging in age from 17 to 45 as well as five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The new arrival won’t be lacking in either playmates or babysitters.
