Claims Jacko’s girl

O2. She said that eight years on, she still hates tour promoters AEG, not least because the Jackson family lost a lawsuit against them when a jury ruled that Michael was to blame for his death.

Paris said that during the rehearsals her father was “exhausted all the time but couldn’t sleep” even though he was being prescribed what would become fatal doses of painkillers by his doctor Conrad Murray.

Paris, who was being homeschooled at the time, said she would plead in vain with Michael to rest. She recalled: “I’d tell him, ‘Let’s take a nap’. Because he looked tired.

“We’d be in ‘school’, downstairs in the living room, and we’d see dust falling from the ceiling and hear stomping sounds because he was rehearsing upstairs.”

She insisted her father was innocent of child abuse allegations against him, remembering how he used to come into her bedroom and cry that the world hated him for something he had not done.

Paris also revealed that she had tried to kill herself “multiple times” after she was sexually assaulted as a 14-year-old by a complete stranger – an ordeal she described as “not a good experience at all”.

Addiction

She admitted she had battled intense self-loathing, depression and prescription drug addiction, saying: “I was doing a lot of things that 13, 14, 15-year-olds shouldn’t do. I tried to grow up too fast.”

Paris grew up on her father’s Neverland ranch in California, saying it was a “normal life” being schooled at home with her brothers Prince Michael, now 19, and Blanket, now 14.

She said she considered herself black because that was what her father told her, even though he lightened his skin.

Admitting her pale complexion and blond hair make it look like she was “born in Finland”, she recalled: “He’d point at me and he’d be like, ‘You’re black. Be proud of your roots’.”
