Heartbreak for unlucky in love star Kylie
“DEVASTATED” Kylie Minogue yesterday revealed she has split from her fiance just weeks after saying how happy he made her feel. The Australian pop queen is said to have told British actor Joshua Sasse to leave her home in west London after reports he had become too friendly with an actress. Kylie, 48, broke off her engagement with Sasse, 29, and confirmed the split on social media yesterday. Writing alongside a picture of the sun rising the former Neighbours star, who scored a chart hit in 1988 with I Should Be So Lucky, told fans: “Thank you for all your love and support throughout this recent chapter of my life. “Thank you now for your love and understanding with the news that Josh and I have decided to go our separate ways. “We wish only the best for each other as we venture towards new horizons. #thesunalwaysrises.” Despite the sentiments in her message, the split is said to have left Kylie “devastated”. It came because she “no longer trusts” her lover amid suspicions he has struck up a relationship with Spanish actress Marta Milans, 34, star of US TV series Killer Women. The pair are said to have bonded on the set of a new TV show they were filming in Canada last year.
Kylie is said to have had a string of furious arguments with Joshua before deciding to end their relationship.
She has since been pictured without her “beloved” engagement ring and is said to be inconsolable.
Friends close to the star reportedly said the relationship had always been “tempestuous” and Kylie has been pictured looking drawn and upset in recent months.
She met Sasse in 2015 on the set of US series Galavant, in which he stars, when she was making a guest appearance. They become engaged one year ago.
Only last month, Kylie revealed she planned to take her husbandto-be’s name when they married.

She said: “Kylie Sasse is a great name... Kylie Minogue has never exactly tripped off the tongue.
“I’ll definitely be taking Sasse but there will be Minogue in there somewhere. Taking a different name makes a statement.”
She added that Joshua would not be taking her name.
“Nobody wants to be Mr Minogue. It takes a very strong man to put themselves in that position and I fully appreciate that,” she said.
“The world around you sees it differently and a lot of guys can’t deal with that.
“When I look into Josh’s eyes, he is all I see and that makes me very happy.”
Kylie, who has battled breast cancer, has had a series of famous lovers, including the late Michael Hutchence of INXS, Neighbours co-star Jason Donovan and model James Gooding.
Representatives of Kylie and Sasse both declined to comment last night.
