Just hours before she went missing, Ms Williams had posted a message on Facebook saying: “Everyone makes mistakes in life, but that doesn’t mean they have to pay for them the rest of their life.

“Sometimes good people make bad choices, it doesn’t mean they are bad. It means they are human.”

One of her children replied on Facebook, writing simply: “Love you mam and miss you.”

On Saturday, Ms Williams, of Anglesey, had updated her profile picture with a message saying: “Just want to be as happy as I was in that photo again.”

It is thought she had been in hospital for a hysterectomy and gone through a traumatic early menopause.

Friends told how Ms Williams was heartbroken after reportedly losing permanent custody of her children.

The five were said to be living elsewhere. It is understood Ms Williams moved into a bed and breakfast after leaving hospital following surgery.

One friend said: “No one can really know what anguish she has been through.

“She has lost her family, her home and her health. She couldn’t face any more agony.”

Her sister Hayley Williams said: “I couldn’t be more upset. I’m heartbroken. We want to to family and Final treat... five bars of chocolate, a necklace and a Valentine’s card saying ‘I love you’ were left by mother Lisa Williams, left, for her children before she was found dead. She was thought to have lost permanent custody of the five children say thank you the support.”

Dozens of messages from heartbroken family and friends were left on Facebook – many offering their condolences to the children.

One wrote: “Your mam loved you so much. I’m sure you all know that.

“Your mam was also so proud of you five. My heart goes out to you little ones.”

Another said: “Your mam adored the bones off you all.

“Such kind and caring woman. She’ll always be with you no matter what.” friends for all
