DAy keep my reflux AT BAy?

-

some good quality support tights that actually fit?

I have tried various makes but none seem to fulfil my needs as I have to wear a swimsuit to keep the tights up, even though I always order the correct size.

ACOMPRESSION hosiery – socks, stockings and tights – aims to promote blood flow against gravity up the legs.

For this to work they have to exert pressure on the legs from the ankle upwards and this means a very snug fit.

If there is room for stretch or “give” then they won’t work. This also means that they need to be put on in a slightly different way to ordinary tights.

You need to roll them on, stretching as you go, from the toe upwards.

This way, as long as the tights are the correct size, there should be plenty of stretch left at the top so they won’t fall down.

A common mistake is to not stretch them enough below the knees so they seem to be short in the leg.

If this does not work then you may need to try a larger size. If the problem persists then you may find it easier to wear thigh-high support stockings, which are selfgripping at the top.
