Adorable Mia, 3, has fun horsing around with Zara
ZARA Tindall learned to her cost yesterday never to turn her back on cheeky blonde daughter Mia.
The Queen’s granddaughter and leading horsewoman was concentrating on a television interview about her performance at the Burghley Horse Trials in Lincolnshire. Then the three-year-old decided to grab her attention by opening her coat tails and peeking at her bottom.
Mischievous
Zara, 36, gamely tried to carry on talking about her chances with her top horse High Kingdom at the competition before giving in to pressure and picking Mia up. But then the mischievous youngster started playing with the interviewer’s fluffy microphone.
Earlier her dad, former rugby star Mike Tindall, 38, cuddled Mia and kept her occupied as they watched Zara compete. She later found another playmate, a friendly black labrador. It has been a busy week for Zara who spent Bank Holiday Monday at the Wellington Horse Trials in Hook, Hampshire.
Zara is a champion international equestrian, having won medals at numerous events on her favourite horse Toytown, which died in June at 25.
High Kingdom is keeping Zara firmly on the winning track. She rode the horse to a silver medal for Great Britain at the London 2012 Olympics and silver again at the World Equestrian Games in 2014.
