SADDLE UP
On Sunday September 24 a taste of the Tour de France returns to Britain. L’Etape London (letapeuk.co.uk) gives riders the opportunity to experience Le Tour de France and cycle alongside legends such as Andy Schleck who won the 2010 race.
You’ll start and finish at the Lee Valley VeloPark, scene of all those British triumphs during 2012 Olympics.
The three different length routes are scenic in themselves following Stage 3 of the 2014 Tour de France, taking you through gorgeous Epping Forest, Essex’s medieval villages such as Saffron Walden and Moreton before heading back into London for a lap of honour around the velodrome and a pic on the Tour De France podium.
Places are still available from £40 for the 49 miles version. L’Etape London are offering two lucky Daily Express readers entry to the race including a VIP breakfast. All you have to do is the answer the question: Write your answer on a postcard along with your name and contact details and send to Express Travel Desk, Northern and Shell Building, 10 Lower Thames
Street, London EC3R 6EN.
