WOMAN’S Hour is currently harping on the fatuous topic of where is the best place to be a woman in modern Britain: how about nowhere if you’re working class? This is probably the best place in the world to be a woman if you’re middle class and well educated. But if you’re a girl from a deprived area in difficult domestic circumstances who is unfortunate enough to fall victim to one of the Asian grooming gangs, then heaven help you, because no one else is going to, above all not the Labour party, so-called champion of the working class.
First we had the scandal of the police and the authorities turning a blind eye because they didn’t want to admit to the reality, namely that the perpetrators were Muslim Asians and that they utterly despised white girls. Then when the dreadful facts came to light, we had Jeremy Corbyn, the leader of Her Majesty’s Opposition, sacking shadow minister Sarah Champion because she had the temerity to point this out. This was followed up by a suggestion that train carriages should be segregated. Why not go the whole hog and ban women from going out on their own?
And now it has emerged that Sammy Woodhouse, who was groomed when she was 14 and bravely cast aside her anonymity, was refused compensation by the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority, because she “consented” to being raped by a gang of degenerates. She is not alone – since 2012 nearly 700 victims of child sexual abuse have been turned down.
From Labour, needless to say,
