I will never speak to him again! Ramsay sticks knife into Oliver
GORDON Ramsay has launched a savage attack on Jamie Oliver and revealed he will never speak to him again.
In a candid interview with Radio Times, the firebrand TV chef characteristically pulled no punches as he described the pair’s long-running feud.
Asked if such spats were concocted for publicity, Ramsay, 50, said at first it had been “fun”, but that Oliver had crossed a line.
“Jamie turned round and said [in a newspaper], ‘I’ve got five kids, he’s got four kids.’ To judge someone else’s family on the amount of kids you have, that’s…”
What Oliver, 42, actually said was that as both of them were parents they should not be squabbling in public, but that’s not how Ramsay interpreted it.
And Oliver’s statement came after what Ramsay described as “a **** year” [2016] when his wife Tana suffered a miscarriage and his daughter had a collapsed lung. And he said he won’t talk to Oliver again until he apologises to Tana, 42.
“Tana was mortified, I mean really mortified,” added Ramsay.
He also revealed he is now talking to his estranged father-in-law.
Chris Hutcheson, 68, was jailed for six months in June for computer hacking as part of a bitter feud with the celebrity chef.
He said: “He’s apologised to all of us and I like to think there’s a line in the sand now.”
Last night a spokesman for Jamie Oliver declined to comment.
