PC brigade’s gone quiet over ghastly Halloween
THE bigotry and double standards of the PC brigade in this country never cease to astound me.
They try to wrap our children in cotton wool by insisting they are not competitive, try to stop contact sport in school and insist playing outside with other children is harmful to their welfare. Then come October 31, the very children they insist they are protecting are subject to the most horrific experience of Halloween, with all the frightening costumes they encounter in the dark streets while out trick-or-treating.
Yet with something so damaging to a child’s welfare, the silence from the PC brigade is deafening. Michael Jellyman,
