Thank you for saying thank you
MY UNSUNG virtue this week is gratitude. Being thankful for small acts of kindness and repaying them with acknowledgment lightens life. The cashier who clumsily dumps your change into your palm with a “next” – without a look in the eye or a thankyou – commits a small assault to the soul.
The person who stands to offer their seat while the recipient flops down without a simple acknowledgment of the gesture, or
SSINGER Paloma Faith said last week: “I quite like myself. I don’t care if anyone else does or not.” It’s a powerful statement and way to live. We all do the world a kindness simply by being ourselves and self-love and acceptance are a lifetime’s journey. Give yourself lots of love and forgiveness today. the presents sent to loved ones that do not get the consideration of a thankyou note, are examples of omissions of civility and absence of appreciation that irk.
Keeping a daily gratitude journal noting small things for which you are grateful helps one relish and landmark life. But the best thing of all is to acknowledge your appreciation of others and pass it on. Thank you to all who consciously already do this.
DARE TO BARE FOR A GOOD SLEEP
CIENCE would have it that sleeping naked makes us happier. It can make us feel free and unrestricted, it keeps the body cooler and so helps the skin breathe and it also prevents skin breakouts. Also the body is kept at a lower temperature which aids the production of good cortisol. An over-heated body produces the bad cortisol which increases anxiety, food cravings and weight gain.
Bets are on that it will make your partner happier too. WWW.REALCOACHINGCO.COM
