3 KITCHEN KNIVES
I am a keen chef and enjoy cooking so much that when I visit friends I often offer to make the meal – although I do insist on taking my own kitchen knives with me.
I bought my knives many years ago in Japan and they are so sharp and light that I don’t think I would ever find a set quite like them. They are a vital piece of my culinary equipment.

I spent a large part of my childhood in Southall in West London, which was an incredibly diverse and exciting place to live.
I grew up with a real taste for Indian and North African food so I love experimenting with new flavours.
