Aussie big beasts lying in wait
ALASTAIR COOK and Moeen Ali came face to face with one of Australia’s most ferocious beasts yesterday – but he was not wearing a Baggy Green cap.
The England pair visited a wildlife sanctuary in Queensland and were invited to feed one of the more terrifying residents, a 15ft crocodile called Bully.
They each dangled a dead chicken over the reptile’s enclosure and it wasn’t long before Bully seized the chance to take an early lunch. The visit, just before the final Ashes warm-up match, came on the day Aussie fast bowler Mitchell Starc said he can’t wait to sink his teeth into England.
